First things first - Sunday was my 2 year Surgiversary and I'm happy to report that I love my life being 100 lbs lighter than when I started this journey.

Moving right along - I am officially the Bionic woman now as my pacemaker was made by a company called Biotronik. The little gadget and I seem to be extremely compatible and I'm attempting to be a model patient. I say "attempting" because I feel so good that it's hard to remember I have limitations for a few weeks.

I knew I needed to have the pacemaker and surgery was scheduled but when I fell out at work last Wednesday the whole process got moved up - very quickly. I'm again very grateful and thankful for the friends that I've made on OH and the wide span of knowledge that shows up on the forums here. I had been able to educate myself a bit on what to expect from the pacemaker on the forums here. It made the scariest health issue that I've faced much more manageable.

Have a great day!!!!

Awesome to hear how well you are doing with the new gadget. Modern medicine still amazes me from time to time. Please do take it easy until you have your full steam ahead green light. I know its hard when you feel so good but it really is important to heal all the same.

(((Iris))),

Great to see you again! I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling fit as fiddle, but do try to follow the Dr's orders and take it slowly.

Congratulations on your Second Surgiversary. Imagine all the energy you will have with your new lighter, bionic body.

Take care!

Oh, Iris ~

I haven't been on the web site in sooo long......I'm so sorry about your having to have a pacemaker, but I'm thrilled that you're feeling better!

Happy 2 year surgiversary, too!  Mine's coming up next month - hard to believe, isn't it?

Take care, and if you need a nurse, I'm just a few doors down!

Hey there Ms. Iris!!!!

I'm sooooooooooooo glad to hear from you and hear that you're feeling better.  God is good to us eh?!!  I'm so thankful that this surgery is behind you and now you're on the road to healing.  Just as the other posters reminded  you, follow those Dr.'s orders and take it easy.  Tell Mr. David to wait on you hand & foot, you deserve it.

Congrats. on your 2nd year.  WLS is a God send, amen??!!

Take care of yourself.
