how was it? do they have wifi? are the nurses nice?

I have no personal experience with them, but have heard good things about them. You can go the the 'find a surgeon' drop down menu that appears above and select Dr. Pender. From there you should be able to find reviews on him and the hospital and staff.

Great hospital.  Very competent staff.  My only complaint was I nearly froze to death.  The AC works REALLY well!!!.  Just ask for extra blankets and you'll be fine. 

 Fabulous... it was great!  I have no idea about wifi... I was too out of it to even watch TV...

My DH had both his gallbladder removal and his lap band placement there, 30 days apart.

The hospital is great. They are geared more to RNY than to lap band so my DH had a little trouble with some of the stuff they wanted to do to/for him that had NOTHING to do with the band. ie: haveing him fast for 24 hours AFTER the surgery (as well as 24 hours before) so they could see if he had a leak. With a band there is no place to leak. Also, he is a diabetic and 48 hours with no food is NOT good for him. A few other things, too.

I had a liver resection there and a couple of other proceedures related to my gallbladder cancer and I loved all the staff on my floor. So caring, so helpful.

PCMH is wonderful. The staff is incredible. They will take care of anything you need. Yes, they have WiFi but they are right. You may not need it. Good luck.

I had surgery there 7/2 for RNY....they are great there.  I had the best nurses.  I don't know about wifi but you will be too out of it to care....cell phone reception is fine.....the bariatric care unit is top notch.  I agree that the air works great except I was HOT not cold.....froze my poor husband out!  Good luck to you!
