Hello fellow North Carolinians!  :)  I'm in the middle of the six month weight management program for insurance.  To ensure or at least hope they can't deny me on this aspect I am attending WW, seeing my PCP once a month and also seeing the NUT through my surgeons office..  I should know at the end of November beginning of December if I am approved.. :)  Anyway just wanted to say hello! :)

Hello and welcome! It sounds like you are doing all of the right things. I know that when I and my husband did our 6 month weight management program we also needed to have our PCP document what we were doing for exercise and behavior management. I am sure that your attendance at the WW meetings will support the behavior management component, so be sure to mention to your PCP whatever it is you are doing for exercise, such as 'this past month I walked briskly 20 minutes, 6 days a week. Next month I plan to walk brisking 30 minutes, 6 days a week.'  Adding that information along with your vital statistics and dietary plan won't hurt anything and may help when you submit for insurance review.

I am wishing you all the best as you move forward.

All the best,

Barbara
