We must have entered the twilight zone of sorts ----it seems that everyone has disappeared.  How about we do a roll call of sorts?

1) Name   Iris
2) Surgery type / date / or status   RNY on 8-8-8  (23 months ago)
3) lbs lost  100 lbs even from my heaviest
4) Biggest Fear 0r Challenge that's Weight loss related  Not so much that I'll gain the weight back but that somehow I'll regain the diabetes, joint aches and pains and that type thing. Basically that I'd lose the quality of life that I associate with having lost the 1oo lbs.
5) Proudest WOW moment It's a tie between being able to wear a smaller size than my Mom and being mistaken for my sons' sister and not their Mom.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I've become a lurker haha!  I haven't posted in ages, but I've been on the site and keeping up with people.  I agree, though.  It does seem like people have disappeared.  We could probably attribute that to summertime.

1. My name is Fran :)
2.  I had RNY on March 18, 2010
3.  I have lost 75lbs :-D
4.  I'm still finding it challenging to get all my water intake.  Sometimes drinking makes me feel nauseated.
5.  My proudest moment so far was when I bought my first two pieces of clothing - dresses - from Old Navy.

Hope everyone is doing well :)

1) Name _ Holly
2) Surgery type / date / or status RNY 3/11/10
3) lbs lost about 65 lbs
4) Biggest Fear 0r Challenge that's Weight loss related - still my biggest challenge is getting the all the fluids in and getting all the supplements down.  I still have trouble swallowing my medicines that are in gelatin capsules.  Breaking them open and sprinkling on applesauce was a nasty diaster!
5) Proudest WOW moment The neighbors keeping telling me how great I am looking these days.

1) Name Barbara

2) Surgery type / date / or status RNY - 06/07

3) lbs lost 137 from my high weight I've lost more than I weigh!

4) Biggest Fear 0r Challenge that's Weight loss related My biggest fear was that I would regain the lost weight because that's always what has happened in the past. It really scared me when I regained about 20 lbs from my low weight or about 10 from my stable/normal weight last year. The thing that was great about that experience was that I was able to take the excess lbs off just by following the rules of the pouch. I didn't have to 'diet' at all. That really gave me a since of 'control' regarding my weight that I've never had before.

5) Proudest WOW moment ... Hmmmm...

Maybe when my son put his arm around me the other day when I was sitting on the bed and said, 'Mom, I just can't get over how 'small' you are! I remember having to extend my arm to have it go around you and now you are so tiny.'

But maybe it was when my weight loss impacted my husband and daughter. Maybe it was when I could go shopping for any Mother of the Groom Dress in the store and if it didn't fit, it was because they had to use clasps in the back to cinch it tighter.

But maybe it was when my son's new brother's in law told my sons that they had 'one hot mama'!

But maybe it was when my husband told me that I was incredibly beautiful and sexy... I'm not sure I've come to believe that one yet.

Maybe it was when I was able to wear a 'small' single digit size... I never even considered any single digit sizes.

Maybe it was when I got to my 3 year surgiversary and was still slim.

Maybe ...

Hellooooo I am here just been running here and there and in the heat no less.
I must say it feels great to go shopping and be able to take my cart to the cart bin instead of just putting it aside.
Money is super tight and I have  my passion for cooking back trying to stretch meals like crazy.
Keeping in mind I only feed 1 and a quarter people in my house.
I am doing well very happy and loving my job on the weekends.
Cant go to the Meetup this month I need the work.
Here is a tip Sunday I cooked Archer Farms Chicken sausage people loved it and it comes in different flavors such as spinach and garlic in fact it did so well I sold out of product on Sunday.
Had lunch with my mom and my niece and brother today.
My brother is doing great very active in AA meetings and is even going to church on Sundays.
My niece texted me of how proud she is of me and how good I looked today that made me so happy because when she was little I felt terrible about myself and could not love my sisters children like I wanted too.
Going on the boat tomorrow with friends for an evening cruising and hot dog roast.
Yeap I can usally do one hot dog with bun sometimes I can only do a half.
Still working out when time allows hope to get some time in on my weights and bike tomorrow before going on the boat.
