so im staying with my mom for a few days since surgery..I've been having some ups and downs..but feeling much better...

I smelt someone eating a pickle yesterday at the house and i just had to go and sniff the jar. I now want to take a sip of the pickle juice...Has anyone done that? Is it ok?

Just wondered. I can't wait til monday to make it to soft foods.

Oh YES. I was a pickle juice sipper for the third week post op. I was soooo sick of the sweet taste. The protein, the juice and the sugar free popsicles, all sweet. My nutritionist laughed and said well it is clear liquid. So I give it a thumbs up
Enjoy

A while back one of girls did the same thing.   But she did it alot.  I tried it also along with cucumber & vinegar juice and it hurt!  Burned.  My Doctor reminded me that I did have a fresh stapel line and insisions in my gut....like pouring vinegar on a raw wound.  Guess I was doing too much!  LOL.
