X post - Bradycardia
I'm having a problem with low heart rate (bradycardia). Seems to run consistently in the 40's with an occasional drop into the 30's. No blackouts but when it has dipped lowest my vision is blurred. My PCP is aware of the low rate and has been having me monitor it. Since I've been tired lately he's making some phone calls for a referral to the cardiologist.
Anyone else having problems (or successfully dealt with it?)? Is there a link to having had weight loss surgery?
Thanks for the input - I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before my doc calls me back.

Hi Iris,
I have had bradycardia and low BP for years. I didn't find that it got any worse with my weight loss, however my BP which had risen to a 'normal' level for most has dropped back down to it's normal lower pressure. If you haven't had a detailed blood work panel done, I'd ask to have it done as they look for a solution. I seem to recall that Andrea U had some issues, but I can't recall if hers were low BP or heart rate, or both.
Please do share wwhat you find out.
