Won my battle with Insurance (Medicaid)

If anyone out there is having problems getting approved I am here to tell you never give up...keep fighting...go to court if you have to...its their job to turn you down...stand up for your rights....you deserve this surgery just like any other surgery to save your life and you are worth it.

Took me two and half years,  repeated denials and an upcoming court case before they "reviewed and reconsidered" and approved me. 

I am so happy I feel like this lol

Hi Barb, you and my OH family are never to far from my thoughts.
I am so loving my job at Target and talking with all kinds and not being afraid to be amongst the masses.
So today I gave out 500 samples of Ball Park All Beef Hot dogs it was fun cooking all those dogs today and thankfully I was inside using my electric skillet in AC.

All I know is if it wasent for my wls I would not be where I am today and feeling so good about myself.

I knew in my mind I needed this surgery.
My highest weight I was 680lbs and life was misrable.

Hi Barbara,

I often wonder why it took so long but I think it was to teach me some life lessons I needed to learn.  Yes I am better prepared for whats ahead.  Thank you for your encouragement I can always count on you.
