Advice....???
Hi Jamie - sorry that I don't have any advice for you since I'm not married (a girl can hope). Just wanted to suggest that you repost this question on the RNY or Main forum pages. I know I've seen a number of posts about it.
I do know that "you" will change in oh so many ways. I can completely understand a spouse feeling threatened by that.
Good Luck.

My hubby has gone thru what seems like an array of emotions so far along the way. He has been against in the very beginning to slowly coming around to ALL FOR IT!!! to now so cloce to the date nervous for me and him. I think it's all normal. I am praying things go great and my hubby chooses to pursue and support my new lifestyle!! Even secretly hoping he might want to do the journey himself one day as he too is morbidly obese.
Jamie, yes! My husband has always been so great with everything except this. He said he is just scared of long term problems with . No matter what I tell him, he still thinks what he thinks. I will tell you that it does get better though. lol he says he is now at 75%. In time things will all mellow out.
