Wednesday Check-in
Good Morning Everyone!
After just one day of work, can you believe today is Humpday?
Yesterday was a very busy day at work and I wore my GoWear for one full day. I found the results very interesting. I tried to make the first 24 hours a typical day with no planned exercise, which is not hard for me! I still showed a deficit in my calories of more than 750 calories. But I see that an average day only nets me approximately 4000 steps and we should be around 10000 steps. The monitor showed 20 minutes of medium level activity and that was with no exercise. I think my using the stairs several times at work is where this came in.
Today I will work on adding more steps to my day. I still need to make sure I get in all my fluids. I find myself getting so busy that I am waiting until I am actually thirsty before drinking, which means I am already dehydrated.
No other plans for today other than work and home. If I get home soon enough I will take a walk to increase my steps. Iris, I am watching you in your June challenge. I know you will succeed.

Yep - I've got James Brown stuck in my head this morning. I guess it could be worse but I'll probably drive everyone around me nuts with it today.Oh well.
The plan for today looks like this:
Breakfast - Whole Wheat slice (1 slice) w/ peanut butter
snack - Creamsicle Protein Shake
Lunch - Tuna Salad - fiber select crackers - sliced tomatoes
snack - apple & cheese
Dinner - Steamed Shrimp - squash & onions - red skinned boiled potato
LNS - Banana smoothie (??) depends on timing of dinner and bedtime
Of course added to this there are vitamins, benefiber chewables (YUM!!!) and WATER, WATER, WATER.
