My Lap Band surgery is Friday!!!! I am very excited to say the least, even though I dread the mushy food phase, I remain determined to do this.  I look forward to any help that any of you have to offer as far as recipes and how you made your mush meat taste better and edible.  I am sure that I will be working to create simple recipes to help others as well, using simple and allowed sauces.

I look forward to hearing about your weight loss journey and sharing mine with  you.

For all who have read, and shared, please have a BLESSED Day.

After all the protein shakes, you might be excited to have mushy foods! lol
Good luck!  You'll do great!

This is very true, have not thought about it in this manner.  I have the feeling that I will be using a lot of low sodium soy sauce and other sauces just to give the meat some flava.

Congratulations!! If you haven't already found it there's a recipe board under the Weight Loss Related Forum. It's not as active as it once was so you may want to spend some time going fairly deep in it but it's full of good ideas.

Enjoy the ride.
