Humpday Check-in
I am feeling out of sorts this week. You know where you really do not feel "sick" but then you just do not feel yourself. Feeling a little achey all over and needing so much more sleep then usual.
So today I will make sure I keep hydrated and getting in all my supplements and protein. I have a huge green salad w/ "crab" meat made for lunch. I usually start my day off with a protein shake for breakfast, but that is as far as I have planned.
Wishing you all a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Haven't been positng much, although i have been lurking occasionally. Just been really, really busy.
I'm having real trouble staying on track. I've been out with clients ALOT... much more than usual. running from place to place and finding myself in fast food lines.... Don't even like fast food, but seem to be in that line anyway. Well, only a couple more days then i'll be staying home for about 3 weeks or so. I'm looking forward to that. But i've got to get a handle on my eat habits.
Today i'm going to bring a yogurt, a protein bar and maybe an orange or an apple with me and just eat at the desk in my clients office. That will be a start. But it's my mind set, that seems to be allowing me to think i can get away with eating junk that has me worried.
Good Morning Carrie,
Sorry to hear that you are feeling out of sorts and I hope that it gets better soon. I was feeling a bit out of sorts myself for a couple of days.
Like Judy, I've found myself in many more fast food lines than I'd like and consequently, what I'm eating isn't as 'good' for me as it should be. It's not that I'm gaining weight, but I know that I need to regain some balance. I'm hoping that after we move that it will get better. I'm trying to make better choices in the meantime.
Hoping for a better day for all today.

Thankfully it's humpday already!! My calendar reflects the fact that I'm living for the weekends. We've got so much going on - all fun stuff for a change. This weekend is a girls weekend for me and 3 of my best friends from High School. Next weekend is a camping trip with david and the kids (their 1st official camping trip at that) and then it's Memorial day weekend and part of David's family is coming down to spend the weekend with us - plus The Lost Colony will be starting up and Cameron is in it again this summer with a larger part than last season.
Next week is going to be tough - Wayne leaves Monday for a missions trip to New Orleans (he's nervous since he's never flown before). His depression seems to be responding to the meds and now a chance to help folks who have lost everything and are still trying to recover. Tuesday I start the prep for my colonoscopy (FUN - FUN - FUN) Wednesday is my colonoscopy in Greenville. Then I'm supposed to go Thursday to the Pain Management doctor about my tailbone. I decided I needed to just go ahead and take Friday off to recover from all of it. Whew - I'm tired already.
today the plan is something like this:
Breakfast - Oatmeal
snack - cheese stick & turkey pepperoni
Lunch - Egg Salad & Apple slices
commute - Creamsicle Protein Shake
Dinner - Crock pot cube steak (leftovers from last night) & steamed veggies
Hope everyone has a GREAT Day -
Iris

It sounds like there is a lot of excitement about the weekend coming up! I share in that excitement! I still cannot put any weight on my left foot, but I'm feeling better. Eating is easier now that I'm not in constant pain.
Being only 8 weeks out, I am really enjoying things that are tangy or tart. I am loving lite italian dressing, mustard, lemon, etc. Basically anything that has a strong taste! I am looking forward to the day when I am allowed to eat a salad, too! I finally found a lite ceasar dressing which makes me very excited!
This weekend is the MeetUp and I am looking forward to meeting people!
Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone!
Fran :)
I'm trying to stay in good spirits, though! This is the last week of my grad class and hubby's classes, too. One 12 page paper and a final is all that stands in my way! Oh, and only three more Mondays left til summer vacation!
Last night I tried Wendy's chili. Oh. my. goodness. SOOOOO GOOD! I ate half of it for dinner last night and just finished up the other half for lunch today. I think there was about 3/4 cup left. Is that too much at 5 weeks? I feel full, but not overfull.
Saturday is my niece's 7th birthday party. It's a Wonder Woman themed party! I really want to come to support group, but it's right around the same time. Hubby and I will have to decide if we'll come for a short while and then leave or just come to the next one. Hope you have an awesome Wednesday!
