Well, yesterday I had several things done in preparation for the surgery. lab work was the first, along with the ultralsound. Next, was the upper gi series. YUCK :-)  Last was my consoltation with the Anesthesiologist. All in all everything went very well. Now just waiting for next week to get here so I can complete the last tests. The Psychological evalation, and the nutristionist consultation. After that, I have to call  Dr. Chapman's office to let them know everything has been completed.   Sherrie

Well congratulations you are well on your way to a healthier you. The upper GI was the worst test, but at least they do not make you do a leak test any more. My sister had to drink that nasty mess the morning after surgery, 6 years ago. Thank you GOD for better technology!!!!!!

Praying for  the best for your next appointments and for a speedy date!!!!!!!

Hi Sherrie... sorry about getting back so late... The next meeting will be this coming Tuesday evening... 5/18/10 at 6-7pm in Greenville... Everyone meets in the lobby of Brody Outpatient Center (next to the PCMH Emergency room entrance)... If you come down John P. East (264)... Turn left at Stanton Square (Arlington Blvd.) continue to next red light.. Turn right... you will be headed towards the emergency room... look for Brody Outpatient ahead on left... just meet in the outpatient lobby and we usually all go to the meeting room as a group...

Next meeting of ECUBSG: Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Time of meeting: 6:00 pm

This will be a scrapbooking activity night.. so bring a before and after pic of yourself to be placed in our scrapbook.. Our goal is to create a scrapbook of members and their successes to be displayed at the "Walk From Obesity" walk in September.
