Did the new Willy Wonka chocolates today 588 samples given out.
My friend worked with me and at the end of the day  I told her that I was going to put the leftovers in the breakroom I said I think it would be best to do that.
So I did some shopping and met her at Food Avenue at the end of the day
she was buying  what I thought was one of those huge baked pretzels.
She asked me if I wanted some and told her no it would not feel good in the pouch.
On the way home she said she was very tired and I said it was a long day and she was also feeling what I call The Carb Coma after eatting her pretzle.
I am trying not to sound mean or like I know it all but **** I do remember how things like that effected me.
Tomorrow I am going to take my mom to my favorite chinese spot to eat for mother's day.
Came home today and put together a Turkey casserole I had been fixing all day in my mind.
I had a wow moment the other day .

Went to PTA and bought a pair of Travel Knit Black pants Size 14 and wore them today!!!
I made Lee look at the tag this morning and said say what the number is I just had to hear it out loud.

Congratulations on the size 14s....That's Wonderful. I had a WOW moment today too. I was going to take a picture of my pedometer to share with everyone but I managed to hut the reset button while trying to zoom in with my cell phone camera...DUH....I logged over 20,000 steps today. That's right 20,000 plus. That's over 10 miles boys and girls. For my stride length it was like 10.34 miles. I am AMAZED. I didn't even get a "real" walk in today either. All the steps were in the course of a very busy day - housework - tons of laundry - washing the vehicles - yardwork - a trip to the grocery store and another trip to home depot - running n and out to check the grill for dinner - you name it .

There's just no way I could have done this much prior to surgery. My energy level wouldn't have allowed it. My feet and legs would have been killing me within an hour of getting up this morning. I'd probably have given up on the to do list and gone back to bed.

Oh - I got inspired during a "rest" break for David this afternoon and made 2 desserts to take to my Mom's tomorrow. A sugar free Cheesecake with a cocoa swirl (recipe on the splenda website) and another that I cannot wait to see the reaction on - I'm not sure what to call it - maybe a Pineapple Pudding. It's 2 containers of Chobani Greek Yogurt (Pineapple Flavor), a package of Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding, a cup of FF Lactaid, a tub of Sugar Free Cool Whip and a can of pineapple tidbits (in it's own juice) and just a few drops of yellow food coloring. It looks incredible and the couple of bites I had while putting it all together a while ago were - YUMMY. Would have been good in a crust as a pie or in individual bowls.

Hope everyone has had a great day. I cannot believe it's nearly midnight and I'm still awake. Gotta go watch SNL with Betty White.
