Good Morning All,

We found a house and are getting it ready to move into. It's bittersweet, but I'm hoping that once it's done, things will start to ease up and get better. Right now, we are up to our ears in alligators as my dad used to say and with that I'm struggling to be sure to get in my supplements and keep my weight up. Yesterday, I was up to 135. I'm sure that it will all get better as soon as we are able to stabilize things.

I'm off to clean and pack.

Talk to you later,

Glad to hear you found a house! You are already on the road to recovery so hang in there! Prayers and plenty of hugs still coming from this way!

Gotta catch up on reading through the posts. Have not been on since Friday.

I took an impromptu trip to see my mom yesterday. She had a car accident Friday and I needed to see for myself that she was ok. She seems to be ok so I am relieved.

It is a hard time of year. My MIL passed on 5/2 a couple of years ago. We had the funeral on my hubby's birthday which is 5/10. Then there is Mothers Day that falls around this time as well. We miss her dearly, yet try to remember the wonderful memories we have of her, and celebrate hubby's birthday and share Mothers Day with my mom.  Having my mom in a car accident this weekend took our emotions on a roller coaster ride.

Chin up...God is good all the time...We are thankful for our blessings and look forward to going to have dinner with my mom (and dad) on Sunday.

I think I will make her a basket with all of her favorite candy treats!

Make it a great day!

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

Hi Valerie,

Thanks for the well wishes. I do think that things will start to get better. We still have quite a mountain to climb before we can rest, but I know we will get there. I know that the prayers from friends, as well as the support and love from friends, family and G-d are helping us through this.

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's accident and grateful to hear that she is okay. I know that you cherish your time with her and as well as the sweet memories of your dear MIL. You and Michael will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Morning all!!!

Being off work yesterday has really thrown me for a loop. Every work week needs an extra Monday (NOT!!). Seems as though I missed the excitement around here yesterday since they killed a poisionous snake in the building. It seems that we have at least one encounter every year with one. Last year one fell through the ceiling next door in the tax department. I think I'd be too traumatized to ever work again.

On a High note - I posted last week about my son's depression - the meds seem to already be taking effect. Thank You Lord!! But something wonderful is about to happen in his life and I have no idea if he realizes it or not. Our family Doc is a "god father" of sorts to my boys - has been since their Daddy died. But he's very committed to missionary work both short term incountry and internationally. At Wayne's appointment the other day Doc asked him the same question he had asked his Daddy years ago "Will you go anywhere with me?" Wayne said he would. The call came yesterday afternoon that Wayne will be leaving on the 17th of this month for a week to fly to New Orleans to work with Samaritans Purse. There are also trips this summer to Rhode Island and Alaska on Wayne's "Volunteer Therapy" (as Doc calls it) schedule. We've all agreed that this will be a summer for him to volunteer and help others. He will be stretched and challenged on so many levels - phycially, mentally and spiritually. God is so incredibly good!!

For me today - not alot planned. Trying to get more fiber in my diet so we'll see how that goes. I did get some of the Splenda with Fiber to add to my morning coffee and I have to say - it doesn't change the taste or texture. Looks like the eating plan today looks sorta like this:

Early Morning - Creamsicle Protein Shake (with orange metamucil) OMG - it was Wonderful
Commute - Coffee with Splenda Fiber
Breakfast - Egg Beater Omelet w/ peppers, onions and mushrooms
Lunch - Tuna salad w/Multigrain wheat thins & sliced tomato
Snack - 1/2 Gala Apple
Dinner - Turkey Chili w/ extra beans & small salad
Snack - Yogurt (either fage or Activia)

Exercise is going to be Wii Fit tonight. and a walk after dinner if the rain holds off.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

WOW that is great ot hear about your son. I do not know the whole story but it sounds like some good healing is going on and about to go on. I am glad for your family. I have been strugling with my 12 year old with weight and low self esteem. We have made a decision to send her to weight loss camp in the mountains of NC. After much prayer and consideration we are excited as a family to the prospect of better health for our daughter. And our daughter is sooooo excited to be doing something that is all hers and there will be kids just like her there to learn together.

Anyway this week has been great so far. My eating drinking, vitamins and working out is going well. I still can not believ how week I am after this large weight loss. I was 100 times stronger (muscle wise) at 284 pounds, but my trainer assures me the muscle strength will come back. I hope everyone has a great week!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Barbara and OH family,

I am running behind today.  I just can't seem to get it together and get going. I guess my "get up and go"  just got up and is gone!

I was late walking into the office today to find our electricity was off and all the server battery backup were voicing their discontent.  Then when the electricity did come back on I was off and running (well trotting anyway!).  So I can see I will behind the curve all day long.

As a matter of fact, it has taken me over an hour to complete this reply.  I keep getting interrupted by my wonderful clients.  Well I am off.

Wishing EVERYONE a Wonderful day!
