Today I have turned 51 OMG but man do I feel great!
If I had stayed at my highest weight of 680lbs and probally more I would not be here on this wonderful day.

I have been blessed with many gifts and well wishes today.
DH bought me my very own GPS keeping in mind I still get lost using a GPS LOL
My nieghbors bought me A new cookbook written by Gordan Ramsey called Fast Food.
I love Chef Ramsey and admire his passion he has for cooking and using fresh produce.

On the other hand I am working on having a fundraiser through Avon to raise money for a patient who needs wls and does not have the finacial means to have it.
I cant think of something that would give me greater joy than to hand over to Dr. Farrel a check to help an obese patient have the surgery which has saved my life.
Lots of things to do and I will keep my OH family updated.

This week Dr. Farrels nurse called to tell me she has been in touch with PS and told me they will be getting in touch with me to set up a consultation.

I bought a wonderful book this week at my Alanon group called The Courage To Change.
I love this book.

Happy Birthday, Annie!  Sorry I'm not better at keeping in touch.  We have been remodeling for the last month or so and my life has been topsy turvy.  I'm so glad you're doing well and glad you like your job.  It sounds like the perfect job for you; you are so friendly and warm to everyone.  I saw Dr. Farrell in April and he is quite pleased with my progress.  Since I first went to Chapel Hill for a consultation, I've lost a little over 150 pounds.  I can already do so many things I haven't been able to do in such a long time.  I just painted my toe nails a few minutes ago!  I have quite a ways to go, but I'm well on my way.  Thank you so much for your support through all of this.  You'll never know how much it meant to me for you to visit me in the hospital and advise me before the surgery--and since.  I saw my NUT in February or March and she was supportive of the way I'm eating.  I am certainly not suffering--not hungry, have been sick only once.  I feel very blessed.  I am exercising at a gym nearby.  Have left the water aerobics and gone to the equipment in the gym.  I never thought I'd get there.  I am also walking on my own and not using the scooter unless I'm at the mall or somewhere that I have to stand or walk a lot.  We still have to do some grocery shopping in Chapel Hill.  I'll try to do better to stay in touch.  Love ya!  Teresa

Annie -  - Happy Birthday a day late. You have such a positive, sparkling spirit.  I am thrilled to celebrate another year with you. Knowing your determination and dedication I have no doubt that you'll help your friend get to surgery. Until then I'm sure you'll motivate and educate. Have a wonderful weekend my friend - you deserve every single minute of it.

Thxs Ann for always being my friend through all this.
I love my 50's!!!!
Margy should hear what Noel and Merlin are saying now LOL I cant even begin to tell you all their vocabulary LOL but one word that it sounds like they are saying is whipperwill.
We have no idea where that came from LOL
Lee taught them both to say What's Up amongst many other words.
Lee forbids Matt to cuss around them so he sings Beatle tunes to them.
