Pinehurst NC or surrounding area

just wondering if there is anyone here that uses a Dr in Pinehurst NC.. considering RNY. I do have a Dr, I have chosen, just looking to see if anyone here in the area..Thanks

I will be using Washington from the same office.  Still in the approval process.  I go see the cardiologist next Thursday.  Things are moving along.  Can hardly wait!

Dr. Mitchell has a strong and loyal following. We actually have several of Dr. Mitchell's patients that come to the Raleigh support group.

 Yes, I am using Dr Mitchell, in the Pinehurst office, He has been awesome and very, very thorough. He is straight forward and strict.  I am having RNY in two and a half weeks. I actually go in tomorrow for my scope and the surgery is scheduled for the 17th. I hope everything  works out, My wife had RNY in April Last year by Dr. Mitchell and has had great success, if we can help Please let us know!!

I use Dr. Washington from Pinehurst Surgical - very good doctor I have lost 90 pounds since 08/21/09 no complaints.

 I am scheduled for RNY with Dr. Mitchell on May 27th!

  I am so excited it seems that's all I think about and am trying not to bore my husband to death with all my thoughts and preparations.  He is my biggest supporter though and has been wonderful.  I AM anxious about the whole hospital thing (the catheters and other "indignities") but I hear that Pinehurst's nursing staff is the best.
I responded to your blog about having tried all the diets, wanting to lose weight the "old fashioned way" but failed.  My sister had RNY with Dr. Mitchell about 9 years ago and looks amazing although she had some complications along the way and that also kept me from looking into WLS.  (Since my education classes in Pinehurst I realize that some of my sister's problems were because she didn't follow protocol)  A friend of mine had RNY two years ago with Dr. Mitchell and he has been a really good role model.  Both of them sang the praises of Dr. Mitchell and when I met him I knew why!
