Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you all had a Wonderful day yesterday and a better day today.

Today is Day #3 of my re-commitment.  Although I had a rough plan for yesterday, my day did not go anywhere near what I had hoped.  The company rep sent me a curve ball when he decided to try another restaurant for our meeting and the other smaller "meals" just did not happen at all.  I found myself famished by the end of the day.  I did make wiser choices than I would have previously, but it still was not where I needed to be in my plan.  But on the up side, I was able to get in more than my minimum requirements for my fluids.   So I do have a small victory.

Today is a new day and another chance to be successful in my plans.  I have a busy schedule again today, but believe it can be managed.

I am again staying with my 6 mini meals and a minimum of 64 oz of water.

Today is predicted to be cooler, but the sun will shine.  When the sun shines, everything looks much brighter in my world.

Hope you each have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

Good Morning!!!! It looks to be a beautiful day and if the weatherman is telling at least a half truth then this weekend will be WONDERFUL - well at least weatherwise.

I'm amazed that everything went according to plan yesterday. Today is looking like this:

Breakfast #1 : Chocolate protein shake (soy milk, sf choc pudding, choc protein powder &ice)
Breakfast #2 : Scrambled Egg Beater w/ cheese and salsa
Lunch #1: Egg Salad - Sliced Tomato - Multigrain Wheat thins
Lunch #2:  Fage
Dinner : Chicken Salad (from last nights leftovers) & 1/2 a gala apple
Snack: NSA Fudgesicle

Fairly balanced - I need to add in some more fruits and vegetables but right now I'm focused on protein intake. I have been mixing in some orange metamucil w/ a stick of orange crystal light in a bottle of water each morning - OMG!!! It's my OJ fix that I've been craving. Stick it in the freezer for about 30 minutes then shake it up and it has the texture of fresh OJ. I didn't realize how much I missed that particular beverage.

Getting the water in hasn't been to hard recently - I'm on the kick of adding a crystal light lemonade stick to a huge glass of unsweet decaf iced tea - HEAVEN.

I've got my walking shoes and extra socks under my desk - as long as the weather cooperates I'm going to start walking again during my lunch hour.

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel so good today. I hope I'm contagious......How about the rest of yall - how ya doing???

Good morning, Everyone!
Today is also # 3 for me.... Yesterday was ok... not great as far as my food intake went... but certainly not as bad as it could have been and has been.

I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to food... I had been doing pretty well, although my lunch consisted of a nut bar and a yogurt... not exactly balanced... but sometimes when i'm running from client to client, that's just the way it is.   Anyway.... about 10 last night i felt like i needed a little something sweet (i know... it's all in the head), but i went for it anyway... took a few pieces of SF licorice... then more and more and more... before i was done i had about 30 pieces of this stuff (Yes.... i have replaced my pretzed addiction with SF licorice!!!).  So on day #3 of commitment i start again!!!  Well then,... i guess it's actually day #1 for me...

I'm moving foward... again... Have a great day everyone.

Hi Everyone!  I'm sending well wishes to those of you who are recommitting today!  I am moving forward with trying to get enough protein in each day (I'm 6weeks out RNY).  I was able to eat a little more that 1/4 cup yesterday and that feels like such an accomplishment!

I'm going to lunch with two of my co-workers today so I spent some time last night checking out the restaurant's menu online so I can make a good choice.  Tonight I am going to see WICKED with my mom, sister, and sister-in-law.  We're eating out before hand as well so this could be a tricky day for me as I get a little nervous about eating in restaurants.

Hope everyone is successful today and is feeling great!!

Feeling a little tired this morning. Dealing with all the emotions that go with my mom drain me completly.
Going to attend my Al-anon group at noon then have lunch at my favorite chinese resturant.
Oh boy egg drop soup here I come.
Lee starts his vacation this afternoon for 7 days that will be nice to have him around more and he can help with the animals while I work out.
My brothers dog is just not sure about the parrots and sometimes they fly off their perches and walk around.
The bulldogs dont mind either way but Dolly runs up to the birds they scream at her but it worries me to death.
Lee wants to grill steaks out tonight and he loves to do that but I just cant do steak so I will be just as happy with a chef salad tonight.

Just like you and Judy, yesterday didn't go quite as planned.

I was able to get over to Duke for their monthly support group meeting. I was good to see the staff and a couple of friends their. The topic was plastics, so to be honest, it wasn't one I had much interest in since it's not a possibility for me.

I'm struggling with issues of constipation. It seems to be one of my bodies reactions to extreme stress these days. It's been something that I've fought with off and on since the roller coaster ride started. I've enlisted the help of Miralax and hope to have it work it's magic.

I hope you all have a great day.

I have had a busy morning...

A 2 hour meeting at 8:30am, then an hour meeting at 11am. No complaints. I scheduled and facilitated the meetings. Daily life of a Project Manager.

Today was the first day of a weekly Farmers Market on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. It was right in front on the Bank of America building, where I spent my morning in meetings. My project team liked having the music blaring in the background.

The Farmers Market is small and they had the tents pretty close together. It was quite a tight walk through. I was not prepared to buy anything, but it was good to look and nice to know it we be there each week so I can plan ahead.

I got up at 5am instead of 4:30am and wanted to do some type of exercise, so I went for the weights. I only did them for 10 minutes and the elliptical called me so I did 10 minutes of intervals; 1 min at 1.5 speed, 1 minute at 4 speed. Wow! I was sweating like..like...like... Niagara Falls! Gotta try that again!

I am enjoying the spurts of motivation to exercise. Too bad it does not last forever! Oh well, off to update some project documentation. Have a great rest of the day!

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!
