Grateful to be back!
I am so grateful to all of you... your wisdom, encouragement and advise has made this journey much more meaningful. Thanks to Alice for coming to see me, and LaVette and Zanetta for calling... and so many of you who posted your well-wishes.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the next Raleigh Meet-Up... and I am looking forward to you all seeing LESS of me!
Smooches!
Hi Lisa,
As Dalton said, welcome to the Loser's Bench! Be sure to follow orders and get plenty of fluids. You will need to sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk. It will go a long way towards helping you through this early phase.
We all look forward to seeing less of you soon!

Hi Lisa
The deep breaths will come easier and easier. When they are moving stuff around, sometimes the diaphragm gets a bit testy and once it calms down, the deep breathing should be much easier. I'm glad to hear that you are up and around so much and that you are doing such a great job getting in all of your fluids. I don't know if you knew this, but dehydration is the number one reason that post-op patients are re-admitted to the hospital. Like you, I made sure to get my fluids in because I didn't want to be one of those statistics. I'm sure you won't be either.
Keep up the good work.
See less of you soon!
