I'm grateful...

I have found that it's so important to remember my blessings, so I wanted to share a few things for which I am grateful today...

I'm grateful to have a husband, children and friends who love and support me

I'm grateful to have my health

I'm grateful I was able to spend some time with my FIL and mother before they passed away

I'm grateful that with all of the stress of the past few months I didn't gain 30 lbs like I would have a few years ago

I'm grateful for the beautiful day

What are you grateful for today?

I read this yesterday and pondered it all afternoon and evening. It's amazing how a simple forum post can help refocus & prioritze a person's life. I realized that I have an endless list of things, people and events to be thankful and grateful for. My life needs to be lived in perpetual thanksgiving. It's overwhelming to realize how truly blessed I am.

I consider myself a very optimistic, happy and content person - I can only hope I'm contagious to those around me. I know that the folks on this site have been a blessing to me. So thank you for continuing to lead and inspire.

Iris,

Thank you for your kind comments and your continued activity and support. It really means a lot to me to have the diversity of new and old-timers.

You are a blessing to me as well.
