Well sent Lee to the store to buy eggs and chicken broth.
Did some reseach on eggdrop soup looked easy enough.
Added some celery and parsley and fresh ginger root.
It tasted great BUT no strands of egg floating around.
So rethinking what I did wrong and I think the stock should have been at a rolling boil as I added the beaten eggs.
I drank about a cup and let me tell you if totally filled me up.

Once you get the soup to a boil, you beat the eggs as though you were going to make scrambled eggs, then you drizzle them into the soup as you use a fork or chop stick to swirl the soup. This makes the characteristic strands of egg we are used to seeing in 'egg drop soup.'
