A little late but here I am lol

Hi everyone. I can't believe that on friday it was a year ago that I had my surgery. It seems like it just happened yesterday. I gotta admit though, im glad it was a year ago cause if not, i couldnt be talking right now cause of the trach lol. Anyways, i just wanted to give you all a update about me. So far, i have lost 244 pounds. I am at 251 and my highest weight was 495. I am in a size 1x pants and shirt. I cant believe that. A year ago I needed my clothes in a 4x or a 5x. Needless to say I have a lot more energy. My kids love the new me and so does my husband. I can do so much more now then I could a year ago. I have to say though just like I always do. If it wasnt for annie I never would have gotten through it. She is the absolute best person I have ever known. She was there for me during the whole process, after the surgery and she is still there for me now. I am so grateful to have her as a friend. Well, I should say like a 2nd mother. 

Ok well I just wanted to give everyone a little update about me and hopefully I will be posting more. To all the newbies and people who are about to go through the surgery, BELIEVE ME, you will not regret it. It will be the best thing you will ever do for yourself!!!

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have always loved reading your posts - there's always been a little sunshine peeping through in them regardless of what was going on. I am so very proud of you. Isn't it amazing what a difference a year can make.?.
