My first Wow Moment

I went today for my 2 week check up and heard the great news of 27.2 lbs lost according to Doc scales so that's 29 lbs since I started this process!! But the Wow came when leaving the Doc office and walking down parking lot to our vehicle. As I started out the door I said to Rick hun my panties are falling off me and as we walked more I said hun they are really falling and then it was finished by time we reached the truck they was down below both Butt cheeks and starting down into my pants! We both was laughing so hard that we had to sit there for few minutes because he couldn't drive! That may be TMI for some but I had to share my laughs with everyone.

That is so funny and what a good feeling to toss those undies in the trash!
Congrats!

Hi, fellow North Carolinians.
I just signed up for this website tonight, so I am all new at this.  I have filled out all of my paperwork and am hoping to hear soon that I can get an appointment with the surgeon and get this surgery behind me and start down this wonderful road of coming out of my prison (body)!  I am excited and scared.  My biggest fear is the gaining it back in a year or two.  I have seen this happen to most people I know who have had the surgery surgery.  I want to believe that I can really do things  this time.  I have to or I won't be here.  I can't wait to start the counseling and the nutrition classes.  Where did you gals have your surgery?

Hey, I hope to have my surgery with your surgeon "Dr. Fuzz". I have meet him and really enjoy him.  Meeting him sure  made me feel old. He is so young looking.
My insurance requires a 6 month medical supervised weigh in, my final appt will be April 19th. After the 19th I will have all behind me. It will be my insurance's call if they will approve or not. I pray they will!
Amber the nutritionist is great, Dr. Jeff Smith the psych. is also very helpful. Good luck to you, keep  us posted.
Like you I have that fear of gaining the weight  back. I feel Amber will be a
big plus in helping

i have to say that i love wow moments, i have had a few of them, throught this process. but the one that had me in tears in public and thank goodness it was a girls night out. was when we went to chilli's ( i had the chili there yummy!) and i got in the booth and realized that i didnt rub the table anymore.. and that my boobs was not sitting on the table. there was so much room between me and the table that i could fit a toddler in my lap and we would not be crushed.

so congrats to you on your wow moment.
Your faith is stronger than you think.  - my Mom
