My HAPPY Arse

I have a happy arse!!! I have a happy arse!!! I have a happy arse!!!!! Why is this such a big deal you might ask? Well my tailbone has been hurting since last August. My surgeon said taht one of two things would happen - It would go away or I'd get used to it. Well neither happened. And after visits with the PCP and an Orthopedist it was decided that I needed to "test drive" different types of donut pillows to find the one that was right for me and "Princess". Someone suggested this type on the RNY forum and I found the sucker on Amazon (actually a set of 3). Oh the Princess is HAPPY!!!!!

Finally - ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. For the price of roughly $30 dollars I'm finally squirm free today. And if anyone sees a blushing UPS man - it's probably my fault......

Iris - too funny!!! I'm glad you've finally gotten some relief.

A fellow RNYer & I have discussed this issue and she asked our surgeon about it .  He said they can't really explain it but it only seems to happen to the RNY patients.  If there is a lap bander who can dispell that theory...speak up!

You got a set of 3 for $30???  This isalmost the exact one that my sister gave me for Christmas and it's by far my favorite. The only difference is mine is black and one side is fabric while the other is smooth (? pleather?).  I need a couple more...one for school, one for the car, one for church (the pews are killer on tailbones!!!).  Glad you were able to get some relief.

Iris,  so happy you got some relief.   When the arse is happy the rest will follow.  

That's the one that saved my butt!  I'm happy to report that I have not had to use it now in over a year... so the problem did go away for me, thank God!
