That is wonderful news.  I envy you the PS.  I hope to get some too.  I just hit a yr right before Christmas so I wanted to give myself some time but I am getting very impatient.
I know you are feeling great.  Enjoy life and just some $$ away for that gas.
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.

Thanks Sandy.  Btw, hot new picture!!!  I hope my wife isn't reading this board...

As for the plastics, I know how you feel.  It was hard waiting the 18 months post WLS.  However, the more you lose before plastics, the better the outcome.  I am very glad I waited.

Blush...giggle.. lol
I am really down to where I think I will stay.  I am wearing a size 4.  I can't see myself getting much smaller.  Will I see a 2?  I don't think so.
I figure I should wait until I am 18 monthhs out just because a miricle might happen and I may wake up and everything will be in the correct place all tight and smooth.  Could happen.

CONGRATULATIONS, DALTON!!!!!

I agree 100% with your comments about BMI.   I'm still officially "overweight" (by 0.7 BMI points) but my family and my doctor tell me I don't need to lose any more.   I'm at 17 % body fat so I'd be OK with dropping that a couple more percent.

I loved hearing about knowing that you will be there for your family and walking your daughter down the aisle.   That was the 'wake-up call" for me when my PCP told me 18 months ago that, if I didn't do something about my weight, I wouldn't be around to walk my own daughter down the aisle.

Well done, Dalton!    Look forward to seeing you at the support group on the 16th.

Hey Sid, great hearing from you and thanks for the kind words.  Looking forward to seeing you at the next meetup.

BTW, my wife is constantly nagging me also to not lose anymore also. She says I am skinny enough and look like a bag of bones. I tell her how can a 200lb man look like a bag of bones.    It's a difficult concept for others to understand as to why we want to keep losing.  I think each of us want to lose as much as we can before the effectiveness of our tool wains.  None of us ever want to be the weight we used to be.  Personally, I think each of us will know when we have lost enough.  The trick then is to figure out ways to stabilize without having to eat a lot of junk to get the calories in.  I just told my wife today, yes I could eat butter and all sorts of crap to stop the weight loss but it also makes me feel like crap.  My metabolism and intake will meet up at some point and then it will all just work out.  Getting her to understand that though is like pulling teeth.

Hey Barb, thanks for those kind words.  And you're right, nothing at Disney compares to this feeling.  Can't wait to see you and Ben at the next meetup.

Oh, BTW, tell Ben I got my bread in from Julian Bakery.  Tell him thanks for hooking me up with this stuff.  It rocks.  I also bought some of the Cinnamon Raisin, mighty tasty.  I wish we could get it locally, shipping is a killer, but since its just me eating it, it will last a while.  I stocked up and the freezer is loaded up with a few loaves.  I also bought a loaf of the Manna from Heaven, very odd looking but taste awesome.  Has a great sourdough flavor and its really satisfying.
