Lee Is having a hard time and is showing signs of very low hemaglobin.
He is scheduled for a endoscopy tomorrow and has been put on iron tablets.
There are signs of internal bleeding and he is on sick leave from work for the next week.
Thank goodness he told me how he was feeling and asked me to get him in to see his doctor which he just saw on the 10th.
His doctor has called the house twice today since we saw him this morning.
Lee mat have to have a blood transfusion after the endoscopy.
It appears that my lectures on Lets Get healthy are sinking in.
One thing Al-anon has taught me is you cannot control anyone.
Thank God for Al-anon it has helped me more than I can say.
Yes I am stress eatting but doing it with celery LOL
Lee saved my life with having insurance that allowed me to have wls.
I told him today to allow me to help him like he helped me.
I will know more tomorrow after his test.
I am strong and can physically handle more than I ever could before.
I am not sure if I will be able to attend the Meetup on Saturday but just know I love you all so much.
BTW I have now started taking B12 and put Lee on it too.

Dearest Annie,

Please know that I am keeping you and Lee close in thought and prayer. Please do let us know how your both are doing. Don't worry if you can't make it Saturday; while you will certainly be missed, it is so important that you take care of yourselves. I'm glad that you are now stong enough to take care of you and your dear husband now.

Please be sure to let us know how things are going.

Warmly,

Barbara

Thanks Barb and Ben for your prayers for Lee.
I have walked the dogs this morning and getting ready to do 30 on my bike and lift before we go have his test this morning.
I have to do what I need to for myself so I can remain strong.

Hi Annie,

I'm glad you are taking care of you so that you can take care of Lee.

Do they think Lee might have a bleeding ulcer or something? When is having the endoscopy?

Hi Barb,
His test will be this afternoon.
Since I have had two endosopies this summer it was not that bad but also keeping in mind he has a full size stomach which I do not so his test may take a little longer than mine.
I am so impressed that Lee's doctor has called us about 4 times since we saw him yesterday.
Lee's hemaglobin was 15 two years ago yesterday it was 7.
Dr. Williams said Lee may need a transfusion but we first need to find where the bleeding is.
He has taken Lee off many of his heart meds which maybe causing some of the bleeding.

On afunny side I told Lee sometimes iron can cause constipation and he could join me in becoming a metamucil fan.

Annie,

My prayers are with you guys.  Please give Lee my best.  I know he will be fine with nurse Annie getting him back strong and healthy.  We will miss you Saturday but taking care of your family and yourself must come first.  See you soon.
