Share and Tell

This morning I was writing my list of things I'm grateful for and I thought I would be a good time to 'Share and Tell'... Here's mine, I'd love to hear yours.

I'm grateful to have my health.

I'm grateful to have a husband and children who love me.

I'm grateful to have a roof over my head.

I'm grateful I had the opportunity to lose the excess weight and attain a quality of life I hadn't 'fully' realized I had lost.

I'm grateful to have the support of my friends here on OH.

I have so much to be grateful for. It's almost overwhelming at times.

I have my boys - or should I say my men. As aggravating as teenagers can be, they've been the biggest single source of joy in my entire life. Watching them grow and mature has been and continues to be an awesome adventure.

I have "my" David. I could write volumes about why I'm grateful to have him in my life but suffice it to say that he brings a level of completeness to my life that I can truly appreciate. Then there are the little Pope's and the extended family.

Southern Surgical and Dr. MacDonald in Greenville. I took the steps to have surgery but they were the hands and brains behind it. They gave me my health back and it regaining that I gained so very, very much. through the pre-op appointments they scheduled I stumbled across OH and everyone here.

I have an appreciation for the material things (possessions) that I have and am content without having to add to that list regularly.  I guess I'm especially grateful that I'm content.

Barb - thanks for posting this. My ray of sunshine wasn't shining as brightly as I'd like for it to this morning so this just reaffirmed for me - that at least it was there.

Here is mine:

I'm grateful for my health

I'm grateful for my fabulous husband who has picked up everything I normally do and not complained once.

I'm grateful for this oppurtunity though it is still very surreal.

I'm grateful for friends who have come by everyday just to get me out of the house or bring by food for the family so the smell doesn't linger

I'm grateful for a roof over my head

I'm grateful for a work place that allowed this to happen

I'm especially grateful to the Supreme One who has blessed our lives and given us the insight and ability to live life to the fullest.

Thank you Barb, for starting this. I need to do it more often.
1. I am grateful for a wonderful husband and two precious adult children.
2. I am grateful I had my RNY and to be recovering well.
3. I am grateful for a job I love with people that are good to work with.
4. I am grateful for friends and family that I love and who love me back.
5. I am grateful for my home in the country which I love.
6. I am most grateful for a loving God in my life that makes it all worthwhile.
7. I am also grateful to the people on this website from whom I have learned so much.
Thank you

It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.
