It has been awhile since I have had a wow moment but I had a goodie today.  I went out and bought a coulple pairs of jeans.  I am wearing a pair right now.  It is a size 10.  I was wearing a size 26 in December of 08.  I am so happy I could burst.  I was wearing a size 10 pair of shorts this past weekend but I thought that was a just a lucky pair of shorts.  I didn't know I could actually wear a 10.  Well, I now have a lucky pair of jeans to go with those lucky shorts.  Can't wait to see even smaller sizes.  yippee!

Hi Sandy,

Congratulations!!! I remember when I was filling out my paperwork for Duke and they asked what would be my 'dream' size and I said it would be a 10... I remember the elation when I got into those pants. Like you, I dismissed it at first, but when you are able to wear different manufacturers and styles in the same size, it's for real!

Enjoy you continued success!

Sandy,

I am jealous!  But, so happy for you!  That size 10 shows how you are making all the right choices.  You make me see the value of all those trips to the gym!  I wish you the best.

Hugs,
Lisa

Thanks everyone!  I was getting a bit depressed because the weight is coming off so slowly it seems.  But then I did some measurements and saw I was losing inches.  So, I went shopping.  I am making a trip to PA to visit friends and family over the holiday weekend.  I have not seen most of these people since the weight loss.  It should be just what I need.  I am now looking in the mirrow and I see loose skin and soft flab.  I get sort of edgy and want this faster than it is happening.  So, when I got into the size 10 it helped put it in perspective again.  So will seeing everyones expressions when they see me.  I am just about 1/2 of my old self.
