Wednesday Check-in-Please share with us.
Good Morning Everyone!
Hope everyone had a good day yesterday. Today is mid-week and the official start of the weekend day dreaming.
Fortunately, I have nothing to report on yesterday and hopefully today will bring more of the same.
I do want to encourage everyone to visit Andrea's blog http://wlsvitagarten.com/ and view her entry for May 24th. Andrea, Thank you. I have really enjoyed your blog and the honesty you share.
Please come in and share your thoughts with us.
Have a FANTASTIC day!

Heyyyyyyyyyy..........
Not only is it humpday but it's almost a holiday weekend - 3 days!!!!!!!! Yippee!!! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can spend most of it on the hobie cats sailing. I love summertime.
Last night there was a combiined support group meeting for the Northeastern NC area (Outer Banks & Elizabeth City). We had 13 turn out for it. Hopefully we can have a combined meetup about every 3 or 4 months. The smaller local groups will be meeting once a month. It's always encouraging to get together with other Bariatric folks who understand our problems as well as our victories. Also seeing how other surgeons and practices approach the entire process can be an eye opener.
Andrea's blog is wonderful. The entry about regain was right on time and right on target. Not to mention the info on vitamins and supplements. Lots of hard, hard work and research that she's sharing with the whole world.
Still working on upping the fiber, water and exercise. Today looks something like this.....
B - Raisins & Bran Muffin
s - Cheese Stick & 1/2 an apple
L - deli Meat Roll Ups - 1/2 apple - fresh veggies
s - Greek Yogurt w/ handful of LF Granola
D - Homemade Chili w/ extra Beans
Lots of decaf tea and a long walk this evening (plus weeding the flower bed).
- Iris
