O' Happy Day

Before I got on the scale this morning I said a little prayer and I have dropped 6lbs the past week. Only I know how hard I have been working at making the scale move and it is paying off. I have the workout bug again and hope I dont loose it once you loose it,it is hell to get it back. I feel like I can hold my head up a little more high and be very proud of myself. It is so nice to go shopping and relize how much easier moving around is for me. I know many of you start at where I am now but to come from 680 to where I am now makes me feel like a million bucks. BTW I am having coffee with my friend Ruth today she told me she is having gallbladder problems. How I wish she would have wls.                                             Annie

Hey Annie -

You are my HEROINE!!! Honestly, the fortitude you have is just phenominal. It is because you have come so far, that I know you will get to your goal. I also believe that you continue to exercise for the rest of your life because you have your life back and that exercise is what allows you to have it and enjoy it in spades.

Tell those mules in the Grand Canyon to get ready, cause you're gonna be ready to ride!

Love you,

Barb

Thanks Barb, I know Dr. Farrell told me that patients who exercise will be sucsessful. Also I know how much it helps my depression which I relate to my obesity. If only I could touch SMO people and give them the spark they need to have wls. I feel very pleased that I followed through with surgery because I knew deep down it was the right and only thing I had left to do. Now that I have had my surgery I know I did what was right. I am thinking about trying a pair of medium sweats today when I go to Target oh my how scarry is that LOL                                     Annie

There isnt anything to teach all I can do is share my journey. To have gotten to where I am it comes from a desire to live and for once in my life I want to be at a normal weight. Life at 680 was horrible I am much happier now.                                      Annie
