Anyone know Dr. David Miles In Newhanover County?

I trying to find someone who has already had surgery done by Dr. David Miles. Maybe someone who knows about  support groups in Newhanover County? thank you

He was my first choice for RNY but his office was not approved by my insurance company, which was a blessing in disguise because I felt that his office staff was not very organized and it took a long time to get phone calls returned ect.. best of luck to you and your search!!

Before I had chosen Lapband, I researched RNY and doctors in Wilmington.  I was not impressed by Dr. Miles, nor his surgical record.  Dr. Harris won by a lonnnnngggg shot.  Please do some more research.  I also advise you to look at a girl on here named shazanne and read her blog.  Best of luck to you. Nancy post note- after re-reading your post and your profile, I see that your surgery is comming up next week, so I guess it's a little late for what I said, but didn't this practice give you the names of any support groups?  I think I would call them and ask- they should have that information.
