How do you reward yourself for reaching weightloss goals?

Sounds good Kelly! I have a few questions though.  Why not a gym membership now?  That'll help support you in getting to your goal.  Also, why can you only go swimming if your diabetes is resolved?  Is there something I don't know about diabetes?

A gym membership now is out of the question because I'm on disability and there's no money for it.. I've had cellulitis in my left leg and the first thing the docs asked me was if I had been swimming!!  Apparently,  cellulitis is seen more in diabetics who swim.  Cellulitis, if you've never hearrd of it is a nasty little bug.  If it's not contained , makes those surgeons at the hospital wanna get those knives out!!  Mine was contained, but it left lovely red stripes down my leg!! Kelly :)

Down 65.6 lbs  WITHOUT surgery!!

Wow!  I hadn't heard that cellulitis is seen in diabetics who swim.  Interesting!  I guess that would be enough to keep me out of the pool too!   I understand about holding things for financial reasons too.  I'm lucky that my DH is in the military so I have a gym available for free.  Actually, I think I took it for granted until you mentioned that. Good luck on your journey Kelly!  It'll be an exciting, emotional, wild ride, and it'll be so worth it!

As I keep thinking on this... I ask... Is a new BRA a treat or just necessity?!?!   I wonder because bras, at least really GOOD ones, are a major "investment" these days, so I guess they could fall into either "treat" or "necessity" category.

That cartoon fits me to a T!!  After three chest catheters and more arm surgeries than I care to count.....I just make sure I wear a dark sweatshirt when I go out!!  Kelly :)
