How do you reward yourself for reaching weightloss goals?

Oh Andrea I'm so excited for you!!! Horses are in my blood! I'm considering WLS and my two incentives for the surgery are #1 my 3 year old daughter and # 2 to RIDE, RIDE, RIDE!! I've had horses since I was a toddler...2 to be exact! Santa brought me my first pony!! Still have horses to this day and I'm almost 37. But just can't ride. I can love on them and give smooches all I want, just can't haul my big fanny up  on one......yet!  It's so nice to see so many horse lovers on here. YAY!!  Love your horsey ticker too!

I would love to but at this time, the horse would probably run!!!  Maybe once I'm quite a bit smaller.

I had really thought I'd reward myself as I hit major goals, but it just hasn't worked out that way.  I guess I feel like I'm just rewarding myself as I go along.  New items of clothing here and there, stuff like that.  And, as I get smaller, I'm getting more adventerous and trying new things,so those things are kind of rewards too.  My DH loves motocross, and I figure when I get to 175 pounds I'm going to finally get on that motorcycle and give it a try.  Helmet included, of course!!!

Ooooo, Nancy, that sounds like fun!  Looks like you're only 8 pounds a way from that final goal...will that be Harley shopping day?

I treat myself with "me" time away from my family on road trip to visit friends. I'm single so getting the chance about once a month to get away from the regular grind is wonderful and refreshing. I also buy a piece of clothes every now and again. I know it's something I have to do anyway, but it feels like such a treat buying new stuff that's smaller than the last thing I bought. :)

I laughed out loud the other day when I read someone's reply to this same topic on the main board. S/he said...When I lose all of my weight "I'm going to go eat at Emerils!!"  I thought I was going to roll in the floor.  Perhaps I'm wrong, but I would have thought that eating would be the last thing you'd wanna do after losing massive amounts of weight. These are the things I want to think about doing after the weight loss....in no particular order: 1. Walk around Centennnial Park hand-in-hand with Keith. 2 Walk along the beach hand-in-hand with Keith and Maddie. 3. Surgery to remove excess skin.. (tummy and arms) 4. Breast reduction 5.Go swimming (if my diabetes is resolved) 5. Get a gym membership. Kelly :)

Down 65.6 lbs  WITHOUT surgery!!

This diet ticker is of my overall weightloss since 2/16/08.
