Hi I'm a newbie
His support group is on the fourth Thursday of each month (this Thursday) at 6:30. Its held in the cancer center down stairs. You get off the elevattor and go straight and its the room on the right. I hope you can come. And yes, he does give you the card to order kids meals, I havent used it yet, since I've found we as a famiy can order one meal and split it! Its funny, waiters think we are crazy!
Hugs,
Amy

Welcome to the NC Board. This is a great place to be! You'll find a great support system here, I absolutely owe so much to all of them.
We look forward to seeing you make this journey. We will see you on the loser's bench soon!

Hello...hello...
Welcome to the board. You have found a great source of advice and encouragement. I am scheduled for surgery Jan 31 with Dr Moran and I have wondered the same things you have been. I'm nervous too and fear the "head hunger." Everyone here on this site is very helpful and have been through this before, so they are very insightful.

Hey, his seminar is in the cancer center. You go into the center and take the elevators down stairs and go striat. Its in the atrium room I think , its down the hall on the left. There will already be people down there because there is a seminar right before it. Hope this helps and I hope to see you there
I'll have a pink shirt on and a pair of lee jeans with pink on the back pockets (the reason I know this is I havent been able to fit into those jeans in about 4 years and I tried them on today and they fit!!! I love this new life!

Amy

Your mind will catch up with your body, and.....you definitely don't wake up from surgery hungry!!LOL
