still dealing
Yesterday we picked my mom up and came back to my nieghbors for a lavish christmas dinner.
Lee was able to get mother and the wheelchair into the house.
It appeared mom had a good time but did induldge too much in the christmas cheer.
Her night nurse wasent working on Christmas night so my brother came and stayed the night.
Today mother has a appointment at Duke and I will be taking her.
Just getting her undressed and ready for bed last night was stressful with a capital S I tried to remember all the good advice I had been given here.
My heart is breaking by seeing how crippled up she has become.
I have always been the sweet and gentle one in my family but the to the point and all bussiness is coming out.
This is truly a challenge for me and my family.
Thank God for my husband he has been so understanding and helpful.

Hi Annie -
I know that this can be very hard. Remember that it's hard for her too and that you will come through this. I know that having Lee is an incredible blessing to both you and your mother.
I'm sorry for the difficulties and I'm glad that you have your brother and Lee to help shoulder the burdens.
Keeping you in thought and prayer.
Love,
Barb
