Let's do SOUP/CHOWDERS!  I'm thinking that January is SUPPOSED to be chilly/cold, (but these days in NC, we just never know-might be a shorts and t-shirt day!), but if we have a soup/chowder pot luck, it will be something EZ to do.  Soups can be made ahead when folks have time, even weeks ahead and frozen, and brought nice and hot in a crock pot. art-0103.gif (48020 bytes) A soup tasting would be fun and maybe we can even get these gals from this post to come and bring their yummy sounding clam chowders! I have some stuff I ordered from Netrition I could also make to have alongside our soups/chowders. I can make and cut into taste-test bites so everyone can try them and find something you might like to order w/out having to spend money on stuff you won't like. Here's some of the stuff I have I would be happy to make and bring... I wish I had thought to bring some of the dessert goodies yesterday but I forget I have the stuff! This is general info on the muffins:

Thanks for the link Wendy and soup sounds right down my alley soup and I are best friends. Barb and I were talking about food at wls potlucks and she said next time we should only bring enough for 6 I agree as you have said we have tiny tummies now. Also I put out the motion to make you our head chef at our meetings does anyone else second this motion. Also I think we should pass around a hat to collect donations to help cover the cost of foof if you are the only one bringing food. As far as cups and plates I am always happy to bring that. Doing demo's I am well stocked in those items.                                                               Annie

First, Wendy - can you adopt me and teach me! Be my Jedi Master? I love soups. I can cheat all the time with soups. Since technically we aren't suppose to drink while eating, it's like 2 for one. Liquid and food! And I have some homemade good ol' Louisiana Gumbo (not spicey) already made up and frozen (because I made to much).  Just loaded with protien yummy goodness!
