OK, for those of you who have never heard of this, you’re going to think I’m a crazy woman (well, I am, but that’s another post for another day).  LOL

I, too, was VERY skeptical of this when I first heard of it, but figured I had nothing to lose.

I have had some terrible bouts of Restless Leg Syndrome and periodic cramps/Charlie Horses, so when I kept reading in The People’s Pharmacy newspaper column and hearing folks talking about this, I had to try it, and for me, it was a pure miracle and WORKS.  You simply place a bar of soap under your fitted bed sheet around your leg area, and for a large percentage of folks, the RLS and/or cramps stop immediately.  (Some folks report the soap helps with back and shoulder pain too when placed in those areas under the sheets.)  No one has yet to figure out how or why this works, but I have not had ONE night of RLS or ONE cramp in my legs since way last year when I put a bar of soap under my sheet.  Even when I travel, I’ll put one of those little “sample” size bars under the sheet too, to keep my restless legs still.  You have nothing to lose by trying it, but maybe your cramps!  Soap Under the Sheets for RLS, Leg Cramps Here are some links about this you might want to read too with some testimonials in addition to mine:

Some folks also report mustard, dill pickle juice and other ideas, but this ain’t for me since the soap works!

Thanks for the suggestion!  I have terrible RLS and don't want to start taking meds for it so have made believe it's not a problem.  I will definitely try this trick!

I  have RLS... and occasional weird cramps in my feet and the occasional charlie horse in my calves. I think I'm going to give this a try as well. It sounds weird and my scientific mind doesn't want to believe it will work, but what have I got to lose? Thanks for sharing.

Believe me... I thought this sounded SO silly!  I'm glad I'm one of the folks it works for... my house cleaning lady was changing my sheets one day months ago and said she has other clients she cleans for that has soap under their sheets too that this works for, so I'm looking forward to hearing if it works for any of you. I really like reading around on The People's Pharmacy site too.  I see so many "odd" ideas from real folks like you and me that have found weird things that work for this and that... when you have some time, browse around there.  You might see other ideas that may help with other ailments you or someone you love could use!  I like alternative medicines when it keeps me from taking another RX...

I am all for alternative health care and treatments. I am going to do this tonight and let you knw about it in the morning. Since wls I have RLS but have had terrible cramps many times a month in my feet and calves. The cramping seems to be worse if I have been very active during the day like walking shopping ect..                                                 Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

Hey Wendy!   thanks for this.  DH asked me "do you put it under the sheet wrapped or unwrapped?"  and I didn't have an answer for him?  So, do I unwrap the bar of soap? Thanks!
