Unfortunately, the wallet is too tight this year. No tree. Plus, I always get them from my company. One of their customers is a tree farmer and he gives the company the most beautifyl blue spruce and frazier firs you have ever seen. TOP NOTCH!  But this year he couldn't make it, so no tree sells So no tree.  We have pulled out "The Christmas Bush" from our storage closet.  The Christmas Bush goes back to a time when my husband and I didn't even have furniture, just cardboard boxes with plywood for tables and bean bags for chairs. It's the most gaudy, tacky, funny thing you've ever seen, but it's become a family member at Christmas for us.

Hey Amy!  I am so happy to see you are doing better.  It really hurt my heart to see how much you were suffering.  Please keep up the good work.  I can imagine that it is an everyday struggle for you, but every morning when you wake up, just thank God for letting you wake up and having you children.  I usually don't put up a tree.  I figure no one will see it anyways.  If I ever do have children, I will go all out.  I can't wait.  Your tree is white, isn't it.  I love white trees, I think they are so pretty.  I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your kids.  I know they are so happy that you are doing better.

WooooooHoooooooooooooo we finally got our tree, the first time we got one up since we moved to Charlotte in 2005. We went to Walmart and bought the special hightech tree stand that you don;t have to straighten out, so excited put the tree in the stand and it came crashing down on my husband.Luckily I had the not so hightech stand in the shed.  Tree is now up and aclimating to the tv room. Very lucky as out tv room is huge 25x25 and I could buy the biggest tree possible except we couldn;t lift it. I am excited as tomorrow we decorate it.I ove out trees and have a special memory attached to almost every ornament. We have been in Mexico the past few Christmases so it didn't make sense to have a tree.

Amy, I, too, am SOOO happy to see your spirits are lifted these days.  You DO have much to live for and those 2 beautiful children of yours are more than proof enough.  God has and does continue to bless you in many ways, and I hope this is the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER for you and your family!  I pray that we continue to see your light shining brighter and brigher here now and into the new year too. Will you be able to come to our Soiree next Saturday in Raleigh???
