The Countdown is on...

Hello all.  I am sitting here relaxed and ready for my surgery tomorrow morning.  I simply have to pinch myself to make sure this is still happening.  I am soooo excited.  All is well and right with the world.     You guys are great.  I am not positive my DH will do the posting as I have requested him too, but Dena is my angel and I'm sure she will let you all know.   I have totally pampered myself today.  Manicure/Pedicure....  eyebrow wax....  just really a relaxing day.  I head to North East Medical in the morning at 5:30am YIKES and my surgery is scheduled for 7:30am.   Any last minute suggestions about what I should take to the hospital?  Or what I should not take?  See ya over on the bench soon! Ditto Ditto everything she said - except about pampering myself today.  They won't allow nail polish at Presby. 

I packed books and magazines and Christmas cards for my OH CC list and my iPod and some christmas shopping catalogs.....oh yeah, and some underwear.

What am I missing? Connie and I are going to ROCK this world tomorrow.  FULL FRONTAL!  (I know that sounds strange, but it's such a powerful slogan - FULL FRONTAL!) At least you'll be unconscious already because of the God-awful hour of the morning. I'm right after you at 9:30

Thank you Myrtis.  I have been wondering where you have been and when your surgery was going to be.  You are right behind me no doubt.  This will be a great Christmas for us.!!

You go girls!  Good luck, although you won't need it.  It's such a gift and a remarkable experience.  When I was in pre-op, I found myself reflecting on the true meaning of the changes that I was making in my life.  Just keep in mind that you've done all the research and made all of the decisions that are right for you, and now is the time for those changes to take place. We'll all be thinking about you tomorrow, and will see you on the loser's bench soon!
