Shedding like a cat in the spring!

what if you have lost lots of hair even BEFORE surgery?? Due to some major stress and depression I was in earlier this year my hair I think finally couldn't take it anymore and started its own strike...it just started leaving. I have a very thin spot now in front and I'm so scared that when I finally do get to the 3.5 month mark it will get so much worse. I've started my biotin already...so I'm hoping that will help. Any other suggestions?
