Amy. You are making such a great decision.  UNC has a terrific program and I know several  girls who have had great success there.  The most important thing about recovery has already happened.  You have realized you need help and you want help.  I have dealt with this in my own home.  I know how hard and confussing it is for you and all those around you.  I have tears of joy in my eyes as I post this. I now know you are going to make it.  You will be in my heart as you start your journey towards a happier life.  Margaret

Amy once you get your note from your doctor CALL SOCIAL SERVICES - they have hardship help for times like these and though you may not want to go on public assistance they will help you with a month of utilities and maybe more so that you don't have issues. NC has some great programs even for temporary situations. DOn't be afraid and good luck. You're a strong woman to take this step and you will get through it. Your kids will thank you for it later.

Lexi -  Size 6-8 and holding.

Hey Amy!  I am so proud of you.  Yeah, you will be away from your kids for a while, but I can imagine how much it hurts them and worries them to see you suffering like you are.  Just think, you can go get better and once you get out, life will be so much better!  I will be praying for you!  You are doing the right thing.  Take care of yourself! Sending you a big hug, Stacy
