Greensboro or Winston Salem

Can anyone recommend a WLS doctor in Greensboro or Winston Salem. I live in Southern Va right on the NC line. I had chosen a dr in Roanoke VA in July. I faxed in my paperwork waiting for a phone call. Well I kept calling them with no luck ... just wouldn't return my call. Last week I finally got someone to answer the phone. They stated they did not have my name on the list as even mailing me paperwork. I informed her I was holding the papers so she must have mailed them. Long story short...the 1st available appt. is 4 months away. I am just as close to Greensboro & Winston Salem, so I thought I would check that out.  Any recommendations???

They have been great with me so far, I dont know how far appointments are out currently but if you call them they should let you know how long the wait it... Hope this helps some... Dr Fernandez at Baptist hospital is where I had my done. he is really really good.

Dr. Fernandez is doing my RNY on October 15th. Last winter my PCP had RNY and she said he was great and she would do it again in a heartbeat. He is very busy but I love everyone on his team that I have met and he has a wonderful support group that meets once a month if you want to attend. I have dealt with Baptist Hospital many times and they have always been nice to us.
