Well, I have finally have my history and physical today at Dr. Chapman's office at 1 pm.  I have been waiting 6 weeks for this appt and surgery so I am so glad it is finally here.  Surgery is next Wednesday. One question, has anyone else been scheduled for surgery and then found out that people who were approved later had their surgery much earlier?

My surgeon wouldnt schedule until you got approval... then he would give the first available appointment. Maybe the reason people approved later got an earlier surgery date because of different insurance? Maybe their turnaround time is usually shorter so they scheduled them earlier but then the approval took longer than normal? Just a thought!

Thats is great about your surgery just know you have made the right choice. As far as an early surgery I would assume that could happend if your surgeon has a cancellation and calls to tell you he has an early slot open. Wishing you all the best.                                           Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

Congratulations Belinda!  Your time is almost here.  If you think you'd like it, and I can arrange it, do you want a visit while you're there? Let us know how the H&P goes. Take care. Ellen P.S.  I go to see him on Monday of next week for my 6 month appt.  We'll see how that goes, I don't know why that's making me nervous...

Own it all, it's yours!

Well, I had my "duh" moment for the week.  I forgot that I requested the end of September because of my best friend's chemotherapy.  When it was scheduled, we were hoping to wait to see how she did before I had surgery.  Duh, duh, duh........
