Hello all, Its been a long time since I posted anything in here but I was hoping maybe someone could help me make a decision. For the last four days i have had some weird pain in my tummy that I have never experienced before, i want to believe it just really bad gas, it hurts to eat any thing, and it hurts when i burp. i have been only eating liquids cause that doesnt hurt as much. it like i can feel it hit bottom after i chew and swallow something. Just so you know i am 4 years out and still have kept the weight off. I was going to go to the emergency room becasue i am a little scared, but i dont want to go and they tell me its just a bad gas. Does any one have any suggestions. Thank you Debi Lee

Sorry to hear you are hurting :( even if they do tell you its bad gas - better to be safe than sorry!! I really have no idea what to tell you... I had horrible stomach pain a few weeks ago and it was because of acid... a few days of pepsid too care of it. For me it was a burning and cramping feeling... liquids/bland foods worked well... anything else set it off.

see if your insurance company or hospital has a nurse call line. you can call them and explain in detail what's gonig on and they'll either tell you to come in or call your doc on monday.

It could be an ulcer and that is something you want to address.  They can turn nasty very quickly. Maybe you can call your dr's office tomorrow.  Make sure you keep track of your symptoms because that helps them determine what's hurting and trouble shoot for you.  Good luck. Jennifer On second thought, if it's under your rib cage on your upper right side it could be gallbladder, so keep a watch on that if you have your gallballder.
