Hate to hear of all your office troubles, but hopefully, you will be faxed and approved quickly. I personally, would call the ins. co. and ask them when /if you are approved, and not wait on someone else to call you. You deserve an "A" in patience. Missed ya' today, but see you soon I hope!

Hey Darc - I'd say "welcome to my world" but it seems like I am not alone in that world. It seems like everyone is so slack and uncaring. Glad you got the things dome you needed to. Can't to hear your date. October 17th maybe? LOL Hopefully it will be much sooner.

Darcie, I was going to have my surgery done by Wade Nazari. I decided against using Southern Surgical because of the bariatric coordinator. I heard others say similar things at the Physicians' East nutrition class and even the guy that did my psych. eval mentioned he had heard things about her because it was notated in my chart that I had changed Drs. Thanks for sharing your story. If I was not this far into this I would switch to another Doctor. I really like Dr.Mann and I met his partner Dr. Nazari today and I already typed up the letter for the office. If I would of known how unorganized and rude the coordinator was then I would of just worked directly with my Doctors office. She lied to me about something I consider important and that was my chart being handed to the office manager a week and half ago. If I was not home yesterday when Southern Surgical called me then I would of never had the conversation I did about if they had all my paperwork or not and todays trip would of been a total waste. When I first started the program she got mad at me because I would email her everyday until she wrote me back, she even told me she would refund the program fee since I seemed to be in such a big rush and I could go someplace else!!! how do you think the office feels about her telling brand new patients who are just following up with the coordinator that? I was NOT in a rush, I was waiting for her to get off her ass and do her job!! I needed a list of tests so I could get them approved per my insurance company and all she wanted to do was ignore me. I will tell anyone considering Southern Surgical that the Doctors are fantastic but save some grief and just work with the office directly instead of the unorganized coordinator. Do not think your letter went unseen... from what I am told they hear it all the time about how terrible she is and they really really need and want letters/emails ect. I was told to tell Dr. Mann about it today and I sure did! He was NOT happy to hear that the coordinator has missed the last two support meetings that SHE HERSELF set up. We have nothing here in the area as far as support meetings but the one she runs (when she shows up) but you know what? Ive met some wonderful people in the area and getting together with them is way better then having to see her face again. LOL Dr. Mann was happy to hear I met some great friends here who Ive met up with once and plan to do it again. Its too bad she treats so many of us the same way, thank you for letting me know that I am not alone.
