meetup Ralaigh

Another member told me about the Raleigh meetup so I requested to join. I received what looked to be an automatic message referencing OH. Does that mean I was rejected to meetup? I can't figure out what it means.

I also had trouble getting onto this site untill I found an old link from a post and it worked.........it is.......http://wls.meetup.com/101/  Hope it helps Nancy

Uh...I don't think I've been added yet. I tried the link and ended up in the same place.

Although I am not the moderator of the Meetup.com site, my understanding of the membership was that it was open to anyone that post on the OH Message Board.  When registering it requires you to use the same aviator and screen name, but other than that you should be able to register.  If you are having problems, please send Wendy/lookn2loose a personal message.  Hope to see you at the upcoming events. No!!! You are not rejected!  This is a brand new group and being in it's infancy some errors will be made.  Please send a message to either Candice or Wendy and they will quickly straighten it out.  They are trying to build up membership, certainly not turn folks away.  Please be patient and kind.  We need to stick together like glue cause no one else can help us they way we help each other! The automated message was confusing. i belong to several yahoo groups and when you're pending that's what the message will tell you, the meetup message was really vague and I couldn't figure out what the deal was, it just it would see me on OH...ok, yeah. Ahhh gotta love technology sometimes.
