As some of you know, I've been feeling blue lately. I had been feeling like I wasn't sure that I was going to be able to continue to post and/or participate in functions because I felt I was clearly unwelcome.

Well, I just wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who have replied to my posts and have PM'd me with an outpouring of kindness, thoughtful perspectives, love, and support.

You know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You will just have to shake off the blues. I think it hits different people at diff. times after all surgeries. You may be 2 months out of surgery but your body is still adjusting I'm sure.  Remind me of this after I get my wls. You give very thoughtful a truthful info and always have kind words for all of us. You are a valuable person on this board and to me..........Alll opinions are valuable.....I learn from alll on this board. And hopefully I can give back also. Please keep sharing your thoughts and opinions. It is extrememly welcome and deserving of being here. Gos Bless, Myrtis

Myrtis -

Thanks for your kindness. I know that I have had and will continue to have some depression issues/episodes that are related to the WLS. This one really isn't.

If you read my profile, you will see that severe clinical depression has been, and most likely will continue to be a health issue for me for the rest of my life. It get better and worse by turns. Usually, it worsens when I'm under extreme stress.

I again would like to thank you for your kindness and look forward to staying in touch with you through our respective journies.

Barb

Barb I am sorry to see you feel that way, I have only been posting for a little over a month regularly and you were one of the first folks to welcome me.  As someone stated previously you have been a wealth of information, insite (sp?) and pure thoughtfulness.  I really see you as a valuable asset to this board.   Thank you again for your being...  Just try reaching for a better feeling, you will find it...
