I have a new little baby that my cat brought into the house this morning. My hubby was up early and Mr. Tink my cat came in announcing he had something so Lee saw what Tink brought in he brought in a baby squirrel. It was this time last year when Tink caught another baby squirrel and I raised it. So Lee brought me the new baby this morning and I knew just what to do. I placed him in my camesole and he his all nice and warm now. We are off to PetSmart to buy formula for the new baby which we have named "buddie" I am delighted, my heart was touched so much by my Balicks  I raised last year and my heart broke when I released him in the spring. Fortunatly my Balicks still comes to get nuts and visit to this day. I am a very happy squirrel mom again.                                                   Annie

Aaaawww...congratulations on your new baby! Make sure you still find time to nurture you, too. If I ever die and come back as a squirrel, I'm looking for your house!   Squirrel  Mare

Awwwwwwwww....I love animals.  My cat does that.  She brings up birds and even 2 newborn puppies once.  I didn't know what to do, so I called the animal hospital and they couldnt take them.  They told me to feed them with a dropper.  I tried.     Needless to say they died.  I couldn't get them to drink the milk.  I called the animal hospital cying and they said, mam...if we took in every orphan animal that people call about, we would be over run and bankrupt.  It really broke my heart.  I can't stand to see an animal, child, or elderly person hurting.  Thank you for caring for the baby!
