Hi Vickie, So sorry you aren't feeling well.  I sure do thank you for sharing your pain and hope that sharing it cuts it in half.  You give us pre-ops more reasonable expectations in sharing like that. Have you considered getting a few of those ProFect vials that are advertised on this site?  At lease to get in the protein you really need to have.  They are less than 3 oz each and have 25 grams of protein each.  Also expensive, but they could get that requirement in under your belt hopefully without losing it. I have also heard that warming the liquids makes them easier on the tummy.  Perhaps some chicken broth with unflavored protein powder mixed in? And yes, please do contact your surgeon again! Hugs, Suzanne

I've heard a few on here say that dehydration made them feel sick to the tummy. Call your surgeon and have him check you out. Maybe you just need a round of fluids to get you back on track. Feel better soon and keep us posted. Hugs

Vickie,

I can so feel your pain. I had this last week...just weak, nauseated and a dull tummy ache. It passed and I didn't really do anything different. Be easy on yourself and take your meds. I think we go through ups and downs and I'm so sorry you are on a down. Everyone here is pulling for you. Let us know how you are feeling in a few days. Jennifer
