Down 12 lbs...Whoooo HOOO!!!
I went to the doc yesterday for my 1 week post-op and I'm down 12 lbs. That is so exciting.
Even so I am a little depressed. I am tired of feeling bad. The nausea and tummy-ache is getting old real quick. My doctor said it would get better so I guess I'll wait and see. I am doing better with the fluids. The decaf tea sweetened with splenda helps. Tomorrow is a new day.
Hugs to all.
Jenn
CONGRATS on the wt loss! Good start girl!
The feeling yuck will improve each day. At less than 5 months out from LapBand , I am amazed with my energy level. Did your Dr mention that a weekend getaway to the beach heals all that ails you?
Keep up the good work!
Sheila

I'm sorry that your still dealing with nausea and "tummy-ache" Did Dr. Moran give you a script for phenergan or zofran? Those are two medications that you can take for nausea, you shouldn't have to suffer when there is medicince that you can take for this. If you don't have a script I would STRONGLY suggest that you have them call in a script for you to your pharmacy.
On a lighter note...... 12lbs. GIRL THAT'S AWESOME! I'm sooooo happy for you!
Thanks guys. How are you Joanne? I was just talking about you the other day to someone...I think it was Wendy when I was in the hospital. I'm glad to hear from you. I did get a script for phenergan and it helps. The only thing that helps the ache is the hydrocodone and you might as well get the bed ready cuz I pass out when I take it.
Maybe that beach trip is just what the doctor ordered! Jennifer
