Tomorrow.......

Kind of nervous for no reason, my pre-op with Dr. Bauman is in the morning at 8 am and the hosp. at 11. I drove up to mom's in mooresville so I won't have a long drive in the morning. Not looking forward do giving up the $1,650, but I guess it could be worse, hearing what others have had to pay without the benefit of insurance. Got my case of Isopure today so I'm happy with that, it at least FEELS like I'm getting somewhere. Now for a prayer, please, dont let me have gained any weight!!!!!!!!!  UGH. I hope that you can relax and enjoy your appointment with Dr. Bauman. Remember to write down your questions, it can be hard to remember all of the things you want to ask, otherwise.

Nancy, Please relax. Take a deep breath. You are going to do fine. If you have done your research and have followed directions( and I just know that you have) there will be no surprises. It's always hard parting with that much cash at a time but it will be so worth it to be on the losers bench.*sigh* Good luck. And I definitely agree to have questions  jotted down. I totallty understand about the $$$. I had to pay $4383 to the hospital...Yikes! And I have insurance. I was in the same boat about gaining. Don't eat anything and you'll be fine.  Good luck and let us know. Jennifer

Well, I'm back from the pre-op trip and it went ok, he said just to watch what I eat untill, and start exercising more. That's it!  They did a ekg and gave me all my perscriptions, and I was done. Most of it was waiting or driving. Wow.  So, the big countdown begins!   20 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
